The European LNG Training Centre has been established in order to provaide education for marine professionals for domestic and international seafaring, as well as harbor and liquid cargo terminal employees in the scope of oil and gas tanker operations and safe terminal operations.

In order to increase seafarers’ training quality in the scope of marine transportation technologies and ship safety, ELNGTC has been equiped with innovative didactic equipmnet by Transas, i.e.:

-Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator,

-LNG and Liquid Cargo Simulator,

-GMDSS Simulator.

Cargo handling and auxiliary operations simulators are the only means of training qualified personel of liquid cargo tankers and gas carriers to perform their functions safely and effieciently.

The simulator is aimed at studying the tanker systems in the framework of standarf IMO courses.

Our simulators are considered as the most modern equipment in the world and enable true  simulation of real objects and facilities, as well as provide procedures and operations training possibilities in real time.

The European LNG Training Center has been established as a  part of Training Centre for Maritime Officers and consists of unique in Europe logistical combination of four up-to date simulators, that is:

1. Navigational bridge simulator, already in use by the Marine Traffic Engineering Center;

2. Dynamic positioning system – DP Simulator meant for vessel crews training in order to acquire the skills of precise berthing a LNG gas carrier to the terminal and discharging gear based on specialist devices for dynamic and precise positioning of moving objects.

3. LNG technological simulator meant for training on-shore terminal staff that among other operational skills, will be specialists in transferring and storage of LNG gas.

4. The Simulator of loading vessels for transferring liquid cargo, GMDSS simulator, LNG Terminal Simulator in Swinoujscie designed for loading and discharging various types of liquid cargo vessels intended for students trained to become future LNG tanker crew members, managerial staff members responsible for the LNG transportation process, tanker personnel and officers complying with A-V/1 STCW 78/95 requirements.
